—
Lois has worked as a set and costume designer and scenic artist across many genres of performance since 2005. She has been short listed for the Linbury Prize for Stage Design and was a finalist in the BBC Design Vision competition.
In 2012, her designs for dreamthinkspeak were selected to represent UK design for performance as part of the V&A’s exhibition: Transformation & Revelation: Gormley to Gaga.
At the root of her work is a deep need to create visual and sensory worlds in support of great stories that explore what it is to be human right now.
Collaborations include: Teatro Pomodoro; Mark Bell; Theatre Porto (previously Action Transport Theatre), National Museums Liverpool; Northern Spirit; dreamthinkspeak; John Wright (Told by an Idiot); Monkeywood Theatre; The Lowry; 20 Stories High; Royal de Luxe, COAL Theatre; Royal Exchange Manchester; Lakeland Opera and work on the BBC Comedy series ‘The Mighty Boosh’.
